![]() ![]() I can't find anything in task scheduler that could be causing the shut down. To restart/shutdown computer DESKTOP failed” but nothing to indicate what caused the shut down. When I'm able to cancel the shut down, I've looked up the event viewer and I only see events for “ The attempt by user DESKTOP I am able to cancel the shutdown when I get the message saying that there were programs running that are preventing shutdown. I’ve set the power settings to high performance and turned off linked power state management. I’m fully updated on all drivers and on Windows 10. Will shut down even when it’s in sleep mode. Sometimes it shuts down after 10 minutes, sometimes up to 30 minutes. It shows the shut down message as if I had selected shut down from the menu myself. When the computer shuts down, there’s no blue screen. The computer just tries to shut down and I have no idea why and I can't predict when it will happen. Whether I'm on the internet or watching a video or writing a document or playing a game. Then when I tried using the computer, I started experiencing I got home from work and found that my computer had restarted itself. ![]() Starting today, I’ve been experiencing random shutdowns/restarts. ![]()
